Provisioning Your Mobile Application (non-SDK)
Last updated: February 6, 2026
Provisioning your mobile application within the MessageGears platform is a simple process. This article lays out what you'll need to get started.
Apple iOS Mobile Application
Your iOS AppID
Your APNs signing key () or
A TLS certificate (https://help.apple.com/developer-account/#/dev82a71386a)
Android Mobile Application
Your App Package Name
Your App's SHA256 Fingerprint
API/Server Key from Firebase console (https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/concept-options#credentials)
Once you're collected this information, reach out to your Client Success Manager to pass this information to our solutions team for application provisioning.
Aside from the information described above, you'll want to let your CSM know the following information:
What would you like to name the application within the MessageGears platform?
Would you like a new account created for mobile only use cases? (This is only required if you would like to separate mobile events on your real-time activity feed or for reporting purposes.)
How you would like to share the sensitive information above? Work with your CSM and the MG solutions team to determine an appropriate way to exchange that information.
Once the team has provisioned your application, your CSM will setup an introductory meeting to talk through how to being using your Mobile Applications within the platform.
